CCRAS has announced 20 PhD/JRF fellowships for eligible NET-qualified non-AYUSH, non-medical aspirants: 16 in Ayurveda and four in Yoga & Naturopathy.

Eligibility and support

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification and a valid certificate from the specified national eligibility tests. Pharmacy and allied scientific research areas are included; a Pharmacy degree alone does not establish eligibility.
  • JRF upper age: 28, with the notified relaxations. Read the advertisement for the applicable age reference date.
  • Stipend: JRF ₹37,000 and SRF ₹42,000 monthly plus HRA, subject to progression rules.
  • Duration: Up to five years; other contingency support has separate conditions.
  • Read the official advertisement PDF.
  • Register and submit the proposal/documents through the CCRAS PhD portal. Email and hard-copy applications are not accepted.
  • Portal deadline displayed on 23 October: 9 December 2026. The notice expresses the window as 60 days from its Employment News publication; check current portal instructions before submission.
