NRTS means Nurses Registration & Tracking System. It supports a national live register of nurses and provides a NUID — Nurse Unique Identity Number.
Start with the official portal
- Open INC's NRTS page or the NRTS portal.
- Choose your State Nursing Council and the service you need, such as enrolment, primary registration, renewal or reciprocal registration.
- Follow that council's instructions for eligibility, documents, authentication and verification.
- Use the portal's application-status and helpdesk options to follow up on your record.
NUID and your licence
INC's official NRTS FAQ — PDF explains that NRTS enrolment itself does not grant a licence to practise. Registration and licensing remain the responsibility of the relevant State Nursing Registration Council.
