Start with your own board

Confirm which board your school follows. A CBSE announcement does not automatically apply to a different board. Read the class, examination and academic session named in the original circular.

For CBSE students

The CBSE examination circulars page lists official examination notices. Check the dated circular and any revision, then ask your school about actions that it must complete on your behalf. Students from other boards should use their own board’s official notices.

Read beyond the headline

  • Check whether the notice is for your class and session.
  • Distinguish the main examination from a supplementary or special examination.
  • Confirm whether a deadline applies to the school or directly to the student.
  • Look for an amended circular before acting.

Keep one reliable checklist

Record the original circular link, the date you checked it and any action your school has confirmed. This guide helps you verify notices; it does not announce a new timetable.
