When the drug is reduced or stopped, withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, sweating, tremors, or more severe reactions may occur. It can be physical, where the body relies on the drug to function, or psychological, where there is an emotional or mental craving for the substance.

  1. Physical:

Important Note:

  • Dependence does not always mean addiction, though the two often coexist.
